For whatever reason, Sun Microsystems makes a real pain downloading their free, Open Source, operating system: Solaris 10.

Well, since I have created an account and put up with endless useless forms I think it is time for me to make a private note about the direct links for downloading Solaris 10 on DVD (still, you need to log in once).

Some smart fellow at Sun thinks annoying your customers with all kind of signup crap is the way to go. Honestly, for me, Fred Barney (as subscribed to their service), making people suffer when they want to spread your products is plain wrong.
